The House of Representatives approved Article 5 of the draft constitutional amendments submitted to amend Article (44) of the Constitution, with the approval of 117 members and the opposition of 5 deputies.

Article 44 of the constitution is concerned with prohibiting the minister from buying or renting anything from the state’s property, even if it is in a public auction, and he may not, during his ministry, be a member of the board of directors of a company or participate in any commercial or financial business or receive a salary from any company.
