“I will believe you and lie in my eyes”, a famous clip from a song that expresses the intensity of a person’s love, even if he sees the one he loves lying to him, so he tries hard to not make him feel reprimanded, and it may even come to denying his eyes about this lie, it is usually easy to notice the liar When it is discovered, it is often easy to stop dealing with it or reduce this dealing to its maximum degree. But the problem arises when the liar is one of those close to you, such as a husband, wife, one of the children and the like. Here it is difficult to even ease the relationship with that person, which causes distress to you as you have to deal with that person’s daily lies.
To facilitate the matter, there are some tips for dealing with a liar without losing it, according to Nada Al-Jami, a marital and family relations consultant, in her talk to “The Seventh Day” about when a person should not embarrass another person who knows that he is a liar and how to deal with him.
1- The lying child
Usually the mother faces a problem with her child when he starts to run away from telling the truth, and resorts to telling a story completely far from what happened, until she almost does not believe that her child, who she was keen to raise well, has become a liar. Therefore, the mother must make the child feel safe, especially in front of people, and confront the child with a lie, preferably between her and her child at home so that the problem does not get worse. The mother can use some books and cartoons that talk about the harms of lying and the necessity of being honest.

Try to make him feel in a tactful way that you respect him and that you accept the truth no matter how difficult it seems, and that it is better to confront it and seek to solve it instead of decorating it temporarily and letting it grow until it is difficult to solve.
3- Someone you respect like a father or a mother
If you discover a person you respect lied, such as a father, mother, or someone dear to you, you must calmly tell him the true information that you know without labeling him a liar. Between you to not embarrass him too much.

The wife should not show her knowledge of the husband’s lying to her so that lying does not become a reality in her married life, and the relationship expert added, if the wife is sure that the husband’s lying is related to his privacy, she must leave him the choice to talk about her or not, and give him confidence and security, and give him His private space to keep his privacy, and to avoid urging him to know very private matters, so that he does not have to lie.
The wife should avoid harsh criticism of the husband, because this leads him to lie because he knows in advance her reaction to telling the truth, but she must show that she knows that he is a liar in order to respect her and fear her grief as a result of this.
