The Transport Authority: New instructions for operating and regulating the work of freight vehicles in early 2022

The Director General of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Tariq Habashneh, said that the new instructions for operating and regulating the work of freight vehicles operating in the cargo unloading and loading center at Queen Alia Airport will enter into force early next year.
He added, in a press statement today, Wednesday, that the implementation and approval of the instructions and the principles emanating from them come with the participation of the various authorities concerned with light and medium transport operations from Queen Alia International Airport, stressing that it will organize transport operations and open new job opportunities for the owners of those vehicles.
Habashneh indicated that the authority is concerned with regulating the transfer of goods for a fee throughout the Kingdom, and that these instructions will be a real nucleus for its application to all regions of the Kingdom from the loading and unloading centers.
He pointed out that the authority held a series of meetings with delegates from the Military Retirement Corporation, the Royal Jordanian, Airport Customs, the Union of Clearance Companies Owners, and representatives of the owners of those vehicles; To approve the operating bases and organize the work of freight vehicles operating in the cargo unloading center.
