Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Social Development delivered a support of 156.5 thousand dinars to 54 associations that included all governorates of the Kingdom, from the Associations Support Fund.

Acting Secretary-General of the Ministry of Social Development Mahmoud Jabour, on behalf of the Minister of Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Associations Register, said during the delivery of project support to associations, that the ministry’s hand is extended to cooperate in order to advance associations, and contribute to strengthening social aspects in accordance with their programs and goals.

Jabour stressed the importance of cooperation between official and private institutions, to provide the necessary services to the community, and its clear impact in various regions of the Kingdom, such as providing training services, medical clinics and craft services, which confirms the importance of concerted and coordinated efforts to benefit the citizen who needs them.

He explained that the Ministry, the Associations Register, and the Associations Support Fund are committed to providing all necessary facilities and possible support to active associations that achieve their goals in their capacity as the civil and voluntary development arm, and are also committed to dealing with other associations by raising the efficiency of their administrative bodies through training and development and assisting them by providing the necessary funds for their advancement.

Regarding the selection of the associations benefiting from the support, he indicated that it came in coordination with the relevant ministries and the Associations Support Fund, and to ensure the safety of the financial and administrative situation of the associations and the conditions and criteria for support, noting that it will be closely followed up by the cadres of the ministry and the field, to ensure that these projects are implemented.
