About 7 million cubic meters were stored by dams from the depression

The Ministry of Water and Irrigation said on Wednesday that the quantities of water stored by the dams from the recent depression supplied the dams with about 7 million cubic meters of rain and the flow of valleys until this morning in the main dams, indicating that the volume of rain falling since the beginning of the season amounted to (15.2 percent) of the average. The annual general and that the flow in valleys and torrents usually need between 24-48 hours to reach the dams.
In a press statement, the ministry called on everyone to take advantage of all rainfall and store it in all available facilities to benefit from it in all uses in order to achieve national ambitions in enhancing national water security as well as not throwing waste and waste into valley streams in order to preserve surface and ground water and to ensure that water gutters are not connected Rain on sewage networks.
She explained in a statement that the total storage amounted to about (80) million m3 of the total storage capacity, at a rate of (23.7%) of the total storage capacity of (336,4) million m3, indicating that the southern dams (Al-Wala, Al-Mujib, Al-Tanour, Al-Lajjun No quantities were recorded during the last air depression.
It increased that the volume of rain falling on all regions of the Kingdom from the beginning of the rainy season until this morning amounted to about (1242) million m3, or 15.2% of the long-term annual rate of (8.1) billion m3.
