The head of Al-Wehdat Club, Dr. Bashar Al-Hawamdeh, confirmed that the next coach of Al-Wehdat will not be a local coach.
He added, in radio statements, that the unit management’s thinking is directed to a coach from outside the Kingdom of high caliber, who is well-informed and has experience with regard to Jordanian football.
Al-Hawamdeh stressed that the club’s upcoming vision is based on reliance on age groups, and reviewed some important elements from the club’s members in other clubs, and focus on distinguished professionals, to achieve the desired addition.
Meanwhile, sources in Al-Wehdat Club confirmed that there is a Palestinian player who emerged in the last Arab Cup, and he will be approached soon in preparation for his transfer to the ranks of Al-Akhdar during the next season.
It is noteworthy that media reports confirmed earlier that the well-known Tunisian coach Shehab Al-Laili is close to returning to the Jordanian League from the Al-Wehdat club gate, and he has previously coached Al-Jazira and Al-Faisaly clubs in previous seasons.
