In a post on his official account on Facebook, Al-Wehdat Club President Bashar Al-Hawamdeh offered an explicit and direct apology to the Minister of Youth, Dr. Muhammad Al-Nabulsi.

According to Hawamdeh’s publication, he apologized to the Minister of Youth, for what included, according to Hawamdeh, “a phone conversation with a person who was overwhelmed with emotion, and this person published this conversation and exploited it with the aim of offending me personally.”

Al-Hawamdeh also apologized to “any person or institution that was touched upon during this call.”

It is noteworthy that Al-Hawamdeh was brought before the judiciary today, Tuesday, on charges of insulting Al-Faisaly Club, after two members of the General Authority of Al-Faisaly Club submitted this complaint to the judiciary.

Through my page, I would like to send a special message of thanks to Your Excellency. Through your guidance and management, the ministry’s crews were able to make the democratic elections process for the Al-Wehdat Club a success with unprecedented competence and professionalism, which the observers considered the strongest and most difficult in the history of Al-Wehdat Club, which resulted in the success of a group of young people who will work hard to rise again in Al-Wehdat Club.

Your Excellency, the period that passed was a difficult period for the fans and fans of Al-Wehdat Club dear to my heart, and it had a direct impact on me personally, as I was one of the parties to the dispute at one of the previous stages during the period of forming temporary committees from the Ministry of Youth, where there were many attempts to impose names and A modus operandi that will affect the club, as well as undermine the achievements of the dissolved administration, and this is what actually happened later.

In this general atmosphere, and with my knowledge of some of the things that were being hatched against the Al-Wehdat Club, a phone conversation took place with a person who was overwhelmed with emotion, and this person published this conversation and exploited it with the aim of offending me personally.

I am confident that everything that was mentioned in this conversation and in a moment of emotion will not affect the relationship that binds me with your honorable person, which is governed by respect and appreciation, but this does not dispense with an apology from you and from any person or institution that was addressed during this call.
