People with the “Omicron” strain of the emerging corona virus complain of several symptoms, most notably severe night sweats, according to the British newspaper, “Daily Star” today, Sunday.

According to the newspaper, doctors in South Africa (where the new mutant was discovered for the first time) indicate that night sweats in patients appear regardless of the temperature in their sleeping place, even if it is cold.

And if the symptoms of a person’s infection with “Covid-19” disease included, at the beginning of the pandemic, a dry and persistent cough, a high degree of body temperature and a loss of taste or smell, now patients with “Omicron” complain of new symptoms, including a runny nose. Headache, fatigue, body aches and night sweats.

The newspaper quoted a local doctor as saying that the symptoms of infection with the new strain are “itching in the throat, mild muscle pain, severe fatigue, dry cough and night sweats,” adding that this type of night sweats makes the patient have to get up and change his clothes.
