Today, Monday, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Al-Tarawneh, the specialist in chest diseases and critical care, indicated that there is a decline in positive tests for the Corona virus and daily infections recorded in Jordan.
Al-Tarawneh added, in his interview with “The Seventh News” on the “Roya” channel, that Jordan’s detection of infections with the Omicron mutator, which is more widespread than its Delta counterpart, prompts everyone to take precautions and caution, especially since “we are going through the winter.”
He explained, that Jordan may go through another wave of spread, especially since the mutant omicron is currently present in the country, and there may be confusion between infections that are recorded due to Delta or Omicron.
Al-Tarawneh pointed out that the most important thing is to maintain the health system and the capacity to accommodate intensive care beds in hospitals.
And he indicated that the Corona examinations do not accurately reflect the epidemiological situation, especially with regard to those in contact with the infected, explaining that the reason for the stability of the number of deaths so far in Jordan, despite the decrease in injuries, is due to the delay in patients going to hospitals.
