The electrical load in the Kingdom has reached 3770 megawatts, which is the first time that the load has reached this level, according to the Director General of the National Electric Power Company, Eng. Amjad Al Rawashdeh.
Today, Tuesday, Al-Rawashdeh said, it is expected that the electric loads will rise next night to 3800 megawatts.
For its part, the Electricity Distribution Company confirmed that its cadres are on a high degree of readiness in preparation for the air depression affecting the Kingdom, in order to ensure the sustainability of the electricity supply.
According to the company’s statement, the preparations aim to ensure a dynamic and quick dealing with any complaints and observations in its areas of operation in Aqaba, Ma’an, Tafileh, Karak, the Jordan Valley, the Jordan Valley, and the Eastern Province.
The company confirmed that it will work according to the maximum capabilities and high readiness, and will be in continuous contact with the relevant authorities in the governorates and municipalities in order to ensure that all mechanisms and devices are harnessed to serve the citizens and to confront any potential problems and malfunctions.
