Dr. Adel Al-Balbisi, Adviser to the Cabinet for Epidemiology, said that there is a tendency to obligate the third dose, at a time when he notes that the demand for vaccination is still below expectations, as the rate of receiving vaccinations ranges between 17-20 thousand per day, distributed over the first, second and booster doses.

Al-Belbisi indicated that the last week, the Kingdom recorded 28 thousand injuries compared to the previous week, which witnessed the registration of 35 thousand injuries, with an estimated decrease of about 20%.

Al-Balbisi pointed out that all indicators began to decline, warning of the spread of the mutant Omicron, saying, “It is not possible to prevent any virus from entering the country, regardless of the decisions and procedures, and what is happening is a delay in its entry and preparation for it.”
