The Civil Service Council decides to train fresh graduates in government departments

The Civil Service Council approved, during its meeting today, Sunday, headed by Minister of Justice Ahmed Al-Zayat, instructions to train recent graduates in civil service departments, in accordance with the provisions of Article 184/c of the Civil Service System No. 9 of 2020 and its amendments.
In his presentation during the meeting, the advisor to the President of the Civil Service Bureau, Fayez Al-Nahar, explained that the instructions that define a recent graduate as a person who has a bachelor’s degree, a diploma or its equivalent, and whose graduation has not been more than three years.
He said that the department, which has requirements for training fresh graduates, is obliged to prepare a training plan that focuses on the specialized aspects of the department’s work, reflects its identity, and achieves harmony between the trainee’s specialization and the areas of training.
He added: The instructions include areas and terms of reference for training, available training opportunities and time frames for them, and publishing them on the department’s website and making nomination forms available for training at the end of next January, within the framework of its social responsibility and according to its capabilities, capabilities and nature of work. It also stipulated that the trainee shall not acquire the status of an employee during The training period and he does not enjoy any of the employee benefits and the department does not obligate him to appoint him or give him any preference or priority for this purpose.
And Al-Nahar indicated that the training aims to achieve mutual benefit between the department and the trainee by raising and developing the capabilities of the newly graduated, in the fields of work related to their specializations, and enhancing their practical application aspect.
The training contributes to opening future horizons and new job opportunities for them, and on the other hand, investing their energies and capabilities and benefiting from their information and skills in productive areas that benefit the department and the development of its work, and enhance aspects of social responsibility and the voluntary transfer of knowledge to the department and the employee.
During the meeting, the council discussed several issues related to human resources management and planning, such as amendments to the performance appraisal instructions, the formation of a committee to select the ideal employee award, the requirement of training courses for the purpose of mandatory and permissible promotion, awarding bonuses, extending services, transfer, assignment and assignment.
The meeting was attended by members of the Civil Service Council: the President of the Civil Service Bureau, the President of the Legislation and Opinion Bureau, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation, Dr. Abdul Hakim Rashida’s brother, and Dr. Refaat Al-Shanaq, with the participation of the general secretaries in the ministries of finance, education and health.
