“Higher Education” reveals the form of education in universities for the second semester

The media spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Muhannad Al-Khatib, confirmed that the decision of the Higher Education Council regarding face-to-face education and exams on campus is still valid for the second semester.

Al-Khatib added, in his speech to the “Pulse of the Country” program on the “Roya” channel, this evening, Monday, that the system of face-to-face education and exams on the university campus during the current first semester is proceeding according to what the Ministry planned.

He pointed out that the epidemiological situation in all public and private universities and colleges is somewhat stable and reassuring, indicating that 92% of students, professors and administrative staff in these universities and colleges received vaccinations against the Corona virus.

Al-Khatib pointed out that the infection rate in all universities did not exceed 1% for approximately 377 thousand students, professors and employees in these universities, explaining that Defense Order No. 35 will enter into force as of the beginning of next year, which will be an incentive and impetus to increase the vaccination rate among students and members of the bodies. Teaching and administration.

It is mentioned that Defense Order No. 35 includes not allowing anyone over the age of eighteen to review any of the ministries, government departments, official institutions, public institutions, or enter any of the private sector facilities unless he received two doses of the Corona vaccine.
