Canadian doctor Michael Narvi, who works at the University of Manitoba Research Institute, told his TikTok account about an unusual case of an ectopic pregnancy.
According to the doctor, the fetus of the 33-year-old woman began to develop in the liver, and he said that this was the first case of this kind that he had encountered.
“I thought I saw everything very clearly,” Narvi commented on the results of the patient’s ultrasound images.
According to the specialist, the usual practice in cases of ectopic pregnancy is the appearance of a fetus in the abdominal cavity, but this may be the first recorded case of a pregnancy in the liver.
