The European Medicines Agency announced Thursday that it has approved the emergency use of the anti-corona drug Pfizer, although it has not yet obtained a full license to market it.

“The drug, which has not yet been allowed in the European Union, can be used to treat adults with corona who do not need additional oxygen but are at greater risk of developing a severe form of the disease,” the agency said in a statement.
