“Accountability” reveals two violations in health centers in the capital

The Audit Bureau assigned a number of inspectors to conduct field visits to health centers in the capital governorate (Amman Shamil, Wadi Al-Seer, Jubaiha Shamil, Um Qusair Shamil, Qweismeh Shamil, Sweileh Shamil).

The Bureau revealed two violations related to the attendance of dentists in a number of health centers in the capital, Amman, as follows: Patients are often stopped at 12 noon, and patients are given appointments of up to two weeks or more.

The Audit Bureau noted that the number of dentists working in health centers who receive an overtime allowance is 502 with a monthly salary of 126,863 dinars, and the incentives associated with the overtime allowance are estimated at about 80,000 dinars per month.

The head of the Audit Bureau, Assem Haddad, sent a letter to the Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, with knowledge and instructing those needed to correct the two violations during the working hours of dentists in Amman.

In turn, Al-Hawari sent a letter to the Director of the Directorate of Health Affairs in the Capital Governorate and attached a letter to the Audit Bureau, to be informed and instructed to take the necessary action and inform him of the correction of the two violations.
