The parliamentary memorandum stipulated the following: “We, the undersigned representatives, in accordance with the provisions of Article (123) of the internal system, demand that a general discussion session be held on the agreement of intent that the government, represented by the Minister of Water, signed with Israel and the UAE, as an urgent matter.” However, the parliament’s internal system set a session Others were for discussion and were voted on, and some of them left the session in protest against the presence of the Minister of Water and Irrigation, Muhammad Al-Najjar, under the dome.
A general declaration of intent was signed at Expo 2020 Dubai on Monday between Jordan, the UAE and Israel, to enter into a negotiating process to discuss the feasibility of a joint energy and water project.
