He said that the necessary tests will be conducted for the injured and their health condition.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases, Dr. Raed Al-Shboul, had confirmed the registration of 28 cases of corona among the inmates of the Jerash Care and Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of Social Development.

Al-Shboul explained that a medical examination was conducted on the inmates and it was discovered that the injuries needed to be admitted to hospitals to receive treatment, and they were transferred by the Civil Defense.

He pointed out that 10 injuries were transferred to Irbid field hospital and 18 injuries to Gardens Hospital, in cooperation and coordination with the National Center for Security and Crisis Management.

Al-Shboul noted that the Corona injuries recorded among the center’s inmates are normal, and not the “Omicron” mutator.
