The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has set next Thursday as a date for announcing the points of requests to benefit from scholarships, grants and internal loans for university students in order to object to them.

The director of the Unified Admission Coordination Unit and the ministry’s media spokesperson, Muhannad Al-Khatib, confirmed to “Hala News”, this evening, Monday, that the calculated points will be announced for each student so that he can review the academic and economic data and the calculated points, and if there is any error, the application will object electronically. With supporting documents.

Al-Khatib indicated that the ministry will continue to open the door for objections to scholarship points and university loans for a period of 10 days from 16-26 December.

He continued, “The ministry will deal with the objections, and after making sure that the points have been accurately and definitively calculated and reviewed by the student, to go to the nomination stage for grants and loans, and announce the beneficiaries for one and last time at the beginning of next February.”

Al-Khatib pointed to the processing of requests to benefit from scholarships, grants and internal loans offered by the ministry to regular program students in official Jordanian universities and colleges for the academic year 2021/2022, noting that the ministry made sure that the conditions applied to students to benefit from internal scholarships, grants and loans.

And he indicated that the applications of students applying from the parallel program, whose average is less than the required, those who have penalties, and those who previously received full scholarships, and others, will be frozen.
