Yesterday, the Traffic Department dealt with 424 traffic accidents inside the Kingdom, which resulted in a death as a result of a run-over accident in the middle desert, and many light and medium injuries.

In a press statement today, Tuesday, the Traffic Department called for the prohibition of loading and unloading passengers in places other than those designated, and the danger of this to the safety of citizens and its impact on slowing traffic.

For its part, the external patrols warned of the state of atmospheric instability that would affect the Kingdom and the resulting dust that might affect the horizontal visibility.

The external patrols stressed the need for drivers of freight vehicles to cover the load and fix it in the correct ways in order to preserve their safety and the safety of road users.
