The coach of the Iraqi national team, Adnan Hamad, commented on Al-Nashami’s loss against the Egyptian team by three goals to one in the meeting that brought them together this evening, Saturday, and as a result, Jordan bid farewell to the 2021 Arab Cup.

Hamad said in statements after the meeting, “The match could have been decided in the first half of the match, and we lost about 3 chances that were good enough to score, but we were not lucky.”

Hamad added, “The absences affected us, and the injuries prevented us from making sufficient substitutions.”

He expressed his pride in the national team, considering every Jordanian to be proud of the players.

Hamad indicated that this loss was “expected in the absence of a number of the team’s players as a result of injuries,” stressing that “the meeting was honorable and the next will be better.”
