Study: Booster Dose Provides Significant Protection Against Omicron

Today, Friday, the United Kingdom Health Security Agency confirmed that booster doses of vaccines against the emerging corona virus provide 70-75% protection against mild symptoms of the new mutant of the Corona virus “Omicron”, based on preliminary results of a realistic study.
According to the BBC, the scientists analyzed data from 581 cases of omicron and thousands of cases of the delta mutant to find out the effectiveness of vaccines against the new mutant, as the results of the analyzes showed that taking the booster dose provides 75% protection.
The head of the vaccination department at the Health Security Agency, Dr. Mary Ramsey, indicated that the data showed that this risk decreases greatly after the booster dose, calling for taking the booster doses for those who are eligible to receive it.
