The security services arrested the killer of a young woman of Arab nationality at dawn yesterday in the Ashrafieh area in Amman.

The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that a report was received at dawn yesterday, that a girl of Arab nationality was stabbed by an unknown person while she was in the Ashrafieh area, and soon she died of her injury.

He added that through investigations into the case and collecting information, the identity of the killer was identified, who had been found to have absconded since committing the crime.

He confirmed that this evening, his whereabouts were determined, he was arrested, and an investigation was launched against him, in preparation for his referral to the judiciary.
