The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Epidemiological Affairs, Raed Al-Shboul, said, on Saturday, that the results of the tests of 36 people who had contact with an infected person with the Corona virus “Omicron” are negative.

On Thursday evening, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of the first two cases of a mutant corona virus, of the Omicron type, in Jordan.

Al-Qutb indicated that the locally infected person may have mixed with other people before discovering his infection, indicating the rapid spread of the mutated version.
