“Education”: We adhere to face-to-face education, but no one knows the future conditions

The Director of the Examinations Department at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Muhammad Kenana, said that the ministry had previously decided to advance the exam date to ensure the safety of students during the period in which viruses are active (the winter season).
Kinana indicated in televised statements this evening, Friday, that the Ministry circulated to the rotation schools to divide the school classes into two parts during the final exams, and the need to adhere to the health procedures followed during the final exams in schools.
He noted that any student infected with the Corona virus during exams, his remaining exams will be postponed to the second semester, stressing that the safety of students is a priority for the ministry.
Kenana confirmed that the number of students who received the vaccine during the campaign launched by the Ministry amounted to 2,168 male and female students inside schools, in addition to receiving 136,000 single doses of the vaccine in the vaccination centers available through the Ministry of Health.
He pointed to the ministry’s adherence to face-to-face education in schools, stressing that the ministry is working with all its power so that “we do not go back to the zero point” after the high cases of corona in the kingdom.
Kenana indicated that the ministry does not want to think about returning to distance education, noting that future conditions that no one can predict, calling for the need to adhere to health requirements.
