The former head of units, Bashar Al-Hawamdeh, the head of the temporary administrative committee of the club, Fahd Al-Bayari, threatened today, Friday, to open fire on him and the Minister of Youth, Muhammad Al-Nabulsi.

This came after he learned about the presence of former Al-Wehdat club presidents Jamil Salama and Sami Al-Sayed in the temporary committee, with extensive interventions from the former club president and current Minister of Transport, Wajih Azaiza.

Al-Hawamdeh suggested that Al-Biyari and Al-Nabulsi will conduct a “sifting” of the members of the temporary committee before the upcoming elections for the club’s board of directors, especially since there are cases of membership fraud carried out by some members of the temporary committee.

The Minister of Youth, Muhammad Al-Nabulsi, had decided to extend the work of the temporary committee for the management of Al-Wehdat Club, headed by Fahd Al-Bayari, for about two weeks since the end of its mandate, until the completion of the club’s board of directors elections.

The temporary administrative board received a letter from the capital’s youth director, Sanaa Abu Abbas, stipulating the extension of the work of the temporary administration, whose assignment letter expired on the 27th of last November.

It is expected that the unit elections will be held on Friday, December 17, in the King Abdullah II Sports City in Qweismeh. The elections will be held with those who attended after they did not reach the quorum last Friday.

Bashar Al-Hawamdeh and Youssef Al-Suqur were officially nominated to compete for the position of president. Khaled Abu Quta, Muhammad Abd al-Qader Dughmush, Jamal al-Absi, Hatem Abu Maelesh, Ziyad Shelbaya, Majdi Dughmush, Amjad Samreen, Abd al-Rahman al-Najjar, Khader Sawan, Ali Khalifa, Muhammad Dughmush, Ali Muslim, Ghasab Khalil, Awad al-Asmar, Zaid Abu Hamid, Omar Asha, Sami Al-Sayed, and Muhammad Al-Banna.

It is reported that the Ministry of Youth appointed several temporary administrative bodies to manage the affairs of Al-Wehdat Club, since July 27, 2020, and the first, the second and a great period of the third were headed by the Minister of Transport, Wajih Azayza, while Yassin Abu Awad took over the task for the remainder of the third period, and then assumed the presidency Fourth era Fahd Al-Bayari, who was extended to him and his administrative team to take over the task in the current fifth temporary administrative body.
