The town of Al-Mashari in the Northern Jordan Valley in Irbid governorate witnessed riots this evening, during which shots were fired in the air and fires were set, against the background of the killing of the young man, Muhammad Al-Qwaisim, with a live bullet.

The area witnessed a heavy security presence by the security forces and the gendarmerie in order to prevent the recurrence of riots, while the gendarmerie forces imposed a security cordon around the area to prevent the renewal of riots.

The Jordan Newspaper electronic newspaper obtained new information regarding the death of the young man, Muhammad Al-Quwasim, who died today, Thursday, as a result of being hit by a live bullet yesterday, Wednesday, in the town of Al-Mashari in the Northern Jordan Valley Brigade, in Irbid Governorate.

In the details obtained by Akhbar Al-Urdun newspaper from a security source, the deceased young man, Al-Quwasim, had submitted a complaint to the security services three days before the crime that he was threatened with death by a drug dealer, noting that the young man was shot yesterday evening in the head area in The public street by a precedent owner, after which he fled.

The source added that Al-Quwasim died Thursday evening of his injuries, and the search is still underway for the shooter.
