Several directorates of education in the southern regions decided to suspend the first three grades and kindergartens on Thursday; Because of the weather.
The directors of education decided to suspend the first three grades and kindergartens in the southern Badia, Qasbah Tafila, and Al-Hasa and Basira districts in the Tafileh governorate.
The working hours of the educational and administrative staff in the Southern Badia will be until 10 am, after the students have completed the final exam.
And it was decided to suspend classes for the first three grades in Al-Qatrana, Dam Al-Sultani and Al-Abyad schools in the Karak governorate.
On Wednesday, the Director of the Meteorological Department, Raed Al-Khattab, expected that rain will continue in the northern governorates, and that it will not rain in the southern governorates.
Al-Khattab told Al-Mamlaka that indicators and analyzes indicate that the winds will remain until the early morning hours in several areas in the south, including Tafila, Maan and Karak, in addition to the southern parts of the capital Amman, Azraq, Zarqa, and Safawi in Mafraq.
According to the Meteorological Department, Jordan is affected by a cold and humid air mass accompanying an extension of an air depression centered in northern Turkey, and there is a significant decrease in temperatures and cold weather prevails in most areas, and the temperature is pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
