Saudi Arabia and the UAE affirmed their full support for all the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is their right to establish an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant Security Council resolutions.

In a joint statement issued at the conclusion of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to the UAE today, Wednesday, the two sides expressed the congruence of views on continuing their efforts to find a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis in accordance with the terms of reference represented in the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism, and the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue conference.

The two countries also affirmed the continuation of coordination in their positions on issues of concern to the two countries on the regional and international arenas in a way that serves their interests and enhances security and stability in the region and the world.
