A team of doctors headed by Professor Ding Kai from “Sun Yat-sen” University in Guangzhou discovered this antibody in the blood of a Chinese citizen who had recovered from “Covid-19”.

It is reported that the aim of this study was to obtain a large number of B cells that produce antibodies to the emerging coronavirus. It turned out that thanks to the presence of the detected antibodies, the laboratory mice survived and their lungs were not seriously damaged.
