47 percent completion rate of the air freight road rehabilitation project

Today, Thursday, Minister of Public Works and Housing, Yahya Al-Kasabi, confirmed that the completion rate of the project to rehabilitate the air freight road has exceeded 47 percent.
This came during a meeting held by Al-Kasabi with the Investors Association, the Cement Suppliers Association, the director of the Electricity Company, in the presence of the consulting engineering office designed for the road and the contractor executing the road, and a number of stakeholders. Conflicting services with the concerned authorities.
Al-Kasabi stressed that all obstacles that might face the progress of work on the project will be removed immediately. Because of the project’s vital and economic importance and supports the Jordanian economy, stressing the need for permanent and continuous coordination with the relevant authorities.
And he valued the efforts of the project workers for their efforts to work on the project in accordance with the highest engineering standards followed in a manner that provides the best services to the country and the citizen.
On the traffic diversions at the site, Al-Kasabi stressed that the traffic diversions at the site are secured with all elements of public safety to serve industrial gatherings, air freight, the traffic institute and all road users to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the work period on the project.
Al-Kasabi and the audience listened to a detailed briefing about the progress of the works in the project, as the works in the project, which is (7.4) km long, include the rehabilitation of the asphalt mixture in the parts of the road and the work of all the accompanying works of rainwater drainage, guiding and warning signs and all necessary works in accordance with the highest engineering standards adopted In addition to paving a side road to the air freight road and traffic diversions equipped with public safety elements to serve industrial clusters, air freight, the traffic institute and all road users to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the work period on the project, some of which were developed.
It is noteworthy that the project to rehabilitate the air freight – Qastal road is financed by a loan from the Kuwait Fund for Economic Development, and the ministry started work on the project on August 28, after completing all necessary procedures to start work in coordination with the relevant authorities.
