The Director-General of the Food and Drug Administration, Prof. Dr. Nizar Mahmoud Mheedat, confirmed that what was recently circulated about the raid by the supervisory authority’s teams on a private hospital as a result of the loss of Larica drug classified as a pharmaceutical prohibited to be traded except with a prescription is incorrect.

In a press release issued by the Foundation today, Mhaidat called for the need to investigate accuracy and refer to the Foundation to ensure the validity of such information before circulating it.
