On Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 28 deaths and 4,665 new infections with the Corona virus in Jordan, bringing the total number to 11,661 deaths and 963,655 infections.

The percentage of positive tests for today was 9.14 percent, according to the media summary issued by the ministry.

The summary indicated that the number of currently active cases has reached 57,917, while the number of cases that have been admitted to hospitals today is 202, and the number of cases that have left hospitals is 136, while the total number of confirmed cases receiving treatment in hospitals has reached 1139.

The summary showed that the occupancy rate of isolation beds in the northern region was 28 percent, while the occupancy rate of intensive care beds was 50 percent, while the occupancy rate of artificial respirators in the same region was 31 percent.

He added that the occupancy rate of isolation beds in the central region reached 27 percent, while the occupancy rate of intensive care beds in the same region reached 38 percent, and the occupancy rate of artificial respirators reached 18 percent.

In the South Region, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was 12 percent, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds was 14 percent, and the occupancy rate of artificial respirators in the same region was 10 percent.

The summary indicated that 3,677 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of expected recovery cases after the end of the isolation period (14 days) to 894,077 cases.

He also indicated that 51029 examinations were conducted, bringing the total number of examinations conducted since the beginning of the epidemic to 12,271,386 examinations.

The summary showed that the number of recipients of the first dose of the Corona vaccine reached 4148,954, while the number of recipients of the two doses reached 3,760970.
