Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, attended today, Tuesday, the opening ceremony of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021, which will be hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha.

The opening ceremony of the tournament was sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, in the presence of a number of leaders of Arab countries.

The ceremony was also attended by HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, and HRH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the West Asian Football Association and President of the Jordan Football Association.

The tournament, in which 16 Arab teams are participating, will be held between November 20 and December 18.

The teams were divided into four groups, each comprising four teams. The Jordanian team participates in the third group, which includes teams; Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine.
