British doctor Karan Raj has described a way to sleep better and see more dreams, and to achieve this, you need to keep your bedroom temperature cool.

Raj said via “Tik Tok” that the production of “melatonin” takes place better in cold conditions, which is responsible not only for the quality of sleep, but is also considered a hormone that slows down the aging process.

He pointed out that in order to sleep, a person needs to lower his body temperature, and in a cold room this happens naturally, and a person falls asleep faster and sleeps better.

The British doctor points out that dreaming is another benefit of sleeping in a cold environment, because the brain does not have to spend time and make an effort to lower the body temperature, so it can relax and fall into a deep sleep.

Karan Raj said, “Sleeping in a cool room can improve metabolism. There are studies showing that exposure to cold can increase the amount of brown fat produced by stem cells.”

The British doctor concluded that brown fat helps regulate cholesterol and glucose levels in the blood, and improve insulin sensitivity.

The American physician, Rebecca Robbins, who specializes in sleep, had previously warned of the dangers of sleep deprivation, noting that the brain produces toxins during the day whose accumulation is associated with the loss of cognitive abilities.
