The Director of the International Medical Office of Lahi Hospital and a lecturer in disaster medicine at Taft University, Dr. Wael Al-Husami, said that there is an accelerated increase in the number of corona cases and deaths affected by infection with the virus, but on the other hand, there are not enough measures to deal with this epidemic, likely That the number of deaths to reach (60-70) cases per day.

Al-Hussami stressed, in a video clip he posted on his Facebook page, that there is no return to the ban in all countries of the world, but this does not mean that there is complete openness; Because it will lead to the government finding itself forced to impose a curfew.

He called for strict measures to be taken to prevent the ban, indicating that the spread is caused by gatherings; including schools and universities; Therefore there must be a comprehensive and complete prevention of gatherings; To preserve the lives of citizens.

Al-Hussami pointed out that the number of Corona deaths announced in Jordan will reach 50% of the previous daily numbers, that is, 60-70 cases per day, stressing that the disease is dangerous, and people will lose many loved ones.

He said, that the citizen must remember that death may affect any citizen at any time, even if the vaccine is taken, as the vaccine reduces the severity of the disease but does not prevent its occurrence and death due to it, indicating that most deaths were recorded for those who did not receive the vaccine against the emerging corona virus.

Al-Hussami called for taking the booster dose, as well as vaccinating children from 5 to 12 years old, noting that countries around the world are now conducting large experiments on vaccinating children.

He stressed the need to adhere to masks and to stay away from group events, restaurants, gatherings, closed places of worship, wedding halls, mourning houses and celebrations, with the need to pay attention to the elderly and take good care of them, and that the patient must stay at home for two weeks, as prevention measures have not changed since the beginning of the epidemic.
