Extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, on Sunday morning.

And the media published pictures and scenes showing extremist settlers performing Talmudic rituals at Al-Aqsa.

Extremist settler groups carry out almost daily incursions into Al-Aqsa, and are fully guarded by the occupation police.

The director of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar Al-Kiswani, said in a special statement toArabic21“The number of extremists who stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Mughrabi Gate, under the protection of the Israeli special forces, today, Sunday, reached 435 extremists, including tourists and members of the occupation intelligence service.”

In another context, the occupation forces stormed the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning.

While the occupation did not explain the motives for the intrusion, its move coincides with the occupation’s municipal court giving its final decision to demolish 84 homes in the Wadi Yasoul neighborhood in Silwan, under the pretext of “expanding the Peace Forest” built on the neighborhood’s lands.

Silwan is located south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Following this Israeli decision, the danger of demolition and displacement threatens about 600 Jerusalemites living in Wadi Yasoul, living in a state of fear and intense anticipation for their unknown fate.
