HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal sent a cable of congratulations to the president of the provisional committee of Ramtha Club, Awni Al-Zoubi, and the team’s players and technical and administrative staff, on the occasion of winning the league title for this season, after an absence of nearly 40 years, for Ramtha’s last title in 1982.

His Highness’s telegram, which was reviewed by the electronic newspaper “Jordan News”, stated, “I salute you, as you have written a new page on the pages of the sports tournaments. I think that you deserve it for your luminous efforts.

His Highness added, “Memories bring me back decades, when I crowned the Ramtha champions in my league in 1981, and I am overwhelmed with feelings of pride in you, to remember heroes, some of whom went to God’s mercy, and some of them remained among us, who worked and gave our sport the greatest progress.”

His Highness concluded his telegram, “God bless you, and grant you success in serving Jordanian sports, and I hope this message will be a greeting to every athlete, administrator and technician, and to everyone who contributed and contributes to making championships.”

It is noteworthy that Al-Ramtha won the league title this season, after a friendly competition with Al-Wehdat, which extended until the last match.
