Al-Aqsa Mosque closed after the martyrdom of a Palestinian woman near Bab al-Silsila

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces closed Al-Aqsa Mosque and Bab Al-Amud, after the death of a Palestinian woman near Bab Al-Silsila, according to Al-Mamlaka correspondent.
The correspondent added that the Israeli occupation police announced the death of the Palestinian woman after she was shot at near Bab al-Silsila in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
She indicated that the Palestinian woman is from the town of Qabatiya, Jenin district.
The correspondence indicated that “the occupation prevented worshipers and guards from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque after it was closed.”
At dawn on Thursday, a Palestinian woman was martyred by the Israeli occupation forces’ bullets at the Salsa Gate, one of the doors of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
And local sources told the Palestinian News Agency, that the occupation soldiers attacked the woman with live bullets, claiming that she was trying to carry out a stabbing attack, which led to her death.
She added that a state of tension prevailed in the area, while the occupation forces tightened their military measures at the gates of the Old City.
