Lapid will visit Bahrain on Thursday and inaugurate the occupation embassy in Manama

The Israeli Foreign Minister, Yair Lapid, is scheduled to visit Bahrain tomorrow, Thursday, at the invitation of the Bahraini Foreign Minister, in the first official visit of an Israeli minister. The two ministers will open the Israeli embassy in Manama and sign bilateral agreements, according to a statement issued by the occupation’s Foreign Ministry.
Israel and Bahrain will launch, tomorrow afternoon, a direct flight, including two weekly flights, operated by the Bahraini airline, Gulf Air, according to a statement issued by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today, Wednesday.
The statement quoted the Deputy Foreign Ministry of the occupation, Idan Roll, who will open the airline, as saying that “Bahrain is an important commercial destination for the State of Israel, and the opening of the airline between the two countries is an important strategic step, which will contribute a lot to the Israeli economy as well as to incoming and outgoing tourism, because this is a destination that allows with cheaper and more comfortable flights to the east.”
Rolle added that “this is another important step in strengthening relations with the Gulf states within the framework of the Abraham agreements, which will achieve further steps of cooperation in many areas.”
In the context of the warming relations between the two countries in continuation of the Abraham agreements, the Bahraini government will allow citizens of Israel to obtain a digital entry visa and obtain it within 24 hours, at a cost of 80 shekels.
And the Israeli Foreign Minister, Yair Lapid, announced recently that he will go to Bahrain “soon” on an official visit.
In mid-September, Israel, Bahrain and the UAE signed the “Abraham Accords”, which include agreements to normalize relations and alliance.
Morocco and Sudan joined them, and the latter announced last week the confiscation of Hamas assets in Sudan, within the framework of the alliance agreements.
