The Jordan Youth Club, through its official account on Facebook, issued a statement today, Sunday, denouncing the statement of its player Khaled Al-Dardour, following the end of the Al-Wehdat match with Al-Jordan youth yesterday, Saturday, which ended with the victory of the Jordan Youth by three goals to two.

Following is the text of the statement:

“Shabab Al-Urdun Club stands at the same distance with all the clubs, and every match is looking for victory without looking at the consequences that affect the clubs’ ranking in football competitions. The statement of the player Khaled Al-Dardour after the end of our match with Al-Wehdat is a personal statement that represents him only and does not represent the principles of the club. By competing in the competitions he is involved in, and the club rejects such statements, which were emotional statements by the player, as he is from the people of the city of Ramtha, which we are proud of and its people and the talents he graduated from for Jordanian football. We wish success to the Jordan Youth Club and all the Jordanian clubs.

It is noteworthy that in light of the result of this match, Al-Ramtha topped the league standings with 40 points, one point ahead of Al-Wehdat.
