On Friday, the “Hamas” movement called on the head of the Sudanese Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Prime Minister, Abdullah Hamdok, to intervene “to stop the cases of exposure to the Palestinians in Sudan.”
The movement said in a statement; It appeals to Al-Burhan and Hamdok, “to intervene personally to stop the cases of exposure to the Palestinians in Sudan, represented in the confiscation of their investments, homes, personal funds and companies, which they acquired legally, with the knowledge and approval of the Sudanese state institutions.”
The movement denied what was reported by the media about its investments in Sudan, and their confiscation by a security committee affiliated with the Sudanese government.
She pointed out that “the assets mentioned in the media reports are owned by Palestinian businessmen and investors, who have no organizational connection with the movement.”
The statement added: “The movement affirms the depth of the relationship between the Palestinian and Sudanese peoples, and recalls the honorable historical positions of the Sudanese people, and the successive Sudanese governments that have consistently supported the Palestinian cause in all forums and fields.”

The agency said, citing unnamed sources; The Sudanese authorities “managed to confiscate all the assets of the Hamas movement on its territory.”
According to the agency, “Hamas assets in Sudan included hotels, real estate, multi-purpose companies, land and a money exchange company.”
There was no official comment from the Sudanese authorities about what was reported by the agency.
On October 23, Sudan announced the normalization of its relations with the Israeli occupation, but many political forces announced their categorical rejection of normalization, including parties participating in the ruling coalition.
