A crime rocked the Faisal area in Giza, south of Cairo, where a child killed his younger brother in a horrific way due to a dispute that broke out between them while they were playing, and what made this story more tragic, is that the child said that he was “imitating a cartoon movie.”

According to what the “Sky News Arabia” website monitored from the scene of the accident, the events began when the mother went to her neighbor’s house to meet some needs, leaving her two children, aged 6 and 4, behind.

The older child, Marvin, became angry after a dispute broke out between him and his younger brother, Justin, while playing, which made the eldest hold a knife that was lying in front of him on the table, and he stabbed his brother, the victim, to death on the spot, after suffering a slit wound in the neck area, according to forensic medicine. .

According to eyewitnesses, when the mother returned home, she was surprised by her youngest son lying on the ground with blood dripping from him, and his older brother Marvin crying for his loss.

When the mother asked her eldest child what happened, he told her that he was the one who did it, but he thought that nothing would happen to his brother and he would rise again like what happens in cartoons.

Fatima Saeed, one of the residents of the area, told “Sky News Arabia” that she saw the mother of the two children accompanied by her neighbor without the children, at the time of the accident.

She added: “As soon as we heard the mother’s screams as she said (my son died, follow me), we informed the Haram Police Department, and after a few moments the ambulance came, but the victim died before reaching the hospital.”

Naji Milad, a neighbor of the two children’s family, said: “The father of the two children works as a driver in Suez Governorate all days of the week, and returns on Thursday and Friday, and the wife takes care of the affairs of the house and the two children.”

In police interrogation, the father said that he returned from work and was surprised by what happened, and that his wife told him that they were playing together in the apartment alone at the time of the incident, and that one of them killed the other.

The investigations of the Criminal Investigations concluded that the child stabbed his brother while playing, and the investigation authorities decided to release the father, mother and their son after hearing their statements.
