Today, Thursday, the cadres of the Drug Enforcement Administration seized 60,000 narcotic pills, which were hidden in a quantity of decorative stones, inside an abandoned apartment in the capital, Amman.

The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate, Colonel Amer Al-Sartawi, said that information was received for the employees of the Anti-Narcotics Department about unknown persons using an abandoned apartment in the capital to hide quantities of narcotics.

Al-Sartawi added that the location of the apartment was located and went to it, and by searching it, a quantity of decorative stones was found inside, which turned out to have been used to hide 60,000 narcotic pills secretly and hidden inside, stressing that the investigation is still ongoing in the case to identify and apprehend those involved.
