Preventive measures against cancer are rare, but a healthy diet has been shown to be effective in preventing the disease.

And sugary drinks, including fruit juices, have been shown to increase the risk of this deadly disease by 22%.

A study warned that fruit juices could act as a major driver in the spread of cancer, as fruit juices show the same link to cancer as Coca-Cola.

Researchers who investigated the effects of sugar-sweetened beverages or fruit juice determined that the beverage could increase the risk of cancer by 18%.

The researchers, from the French Public Health Agency in France, evaluated data from more than 101,000 participants, 79% of whom were women.

At the start of the study, participants were asked to fill out questionnaires that assessed their intake of more than 3,000 different food and drink items.

Subjects were asked to fill out questionnaires every six months during a five-year follow-up period.

The results revealed that the average person consumed approximately 93 ml of sugary drinks, or 100% of fruit juice, per day.

Natural fruit juice contains natural sugars, while sugary drinks usually contain a mixture of sugar and additives, to enhance the flavor and color of the drinks.

The researchers were able to determine that each additional 100ml in addition to the 93ml widely consumed was associated with an 18 percent increased risk of all types of cancer and a 22 percent increased risk of breast cancer among women.

The results were consistent after accounting for baseline factors, including weight gain.

When the group of sugary drinks was divided into fruit juices and other sugary drinks, consumption of both types of drinks was associated with a higher overall cancer risk, the researchers said.

The researchers suggested that the link may be due to some biological factors, such as the effect of sugar on visceral fat that coats vital organs, or blood sugar levels, both of which are linked to an increased risk of cancer.
