European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday that the way France was dealt with over the submarine deal with Australia in the framework of the US-Australian-British security partnership was “unacceptable”.

According to the Euronews website, von der said in an interview with CNN that a member of the European Union was treated in an unacceptable manner, and she continued: “We want to know what happened and why?”
