An American court rejected the lawsuit of the Egyptian citizen, Mohamed Salah Sultan, against the former Egyptian Prime Minister, Hazem Al-Beblawy

The American court, which is considering the lawsuit filed by Sultan against Al-Beblawi on charges of torture, issued a decision rejecting the case. The court explained – in its merits – that the decision came based on the diplomatic immunity enjoyed by the former prime minister in the Sisi regime, according to his position at the World Bank.
