His Majesty King Abdullah II sent a cable of condolences to his brother, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, on the death of Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and former Minister of Defense and Military Production in the Arab Republic of Egypt, may God have mercy on him.

His Majesty expressed his sincerest condolences and sympathy, praying to the Almighty God to inspire President Sisi and the family of the deceased generous patience and condolences.
