On Monday, Minister of State for Information Affairs Sakher Dodin confirmed that there is a “great laxity” in adhering to public safety measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus, noting that this is due to a “feeling of reassurance” and the fact that the rates of virus detection tests remain less than 5%.

Dodin said on the Kingdom channel, that the epidemiological situation in Jordan during the past 3 weeks since the government opened all sectors under conditions, “Things are under control and are generally stable, and people have opened all sectors, and we see this through the sales tax that the Ministry of Finance takes, which is better than year 2019”.

Dodin called on citizens to receive the anti-Coronavirus vaccine, explaining: “There is still a massive pandemic for those who have not received the vaccine, but those who receive the vaccines live in cold and peace.”

Doudin expressed his “dissatisfaction” with the rate of vaccine recipients in Jordan, and expressed his hope that it would “rise, especially in the coming weeks.”

Since the start of the vaccination campaign at the beginning of this year, Jordan has given 6.805103 million doses, distributed over 3.630190 million first doses, and 3.174913 million second doses.
