The online newspaper, “Akhbar Al-Jordan,” has learned that hotel room prices in the city of Aqaba are witnessing a successive rise as the date of Amr Diab’s concert approaches in the middle of next month.

The occupancy rate of rooms in several hotels of different classifications reached 100%, while the percentage in most of them exceeded the 70% barrier.

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and the Commissioner for Tourism, Sharhabeel, indicated that the tourist movement in Aqaba is constantly improving, pointing to the increase in hotel reservations, and it is expected that tourism will improve further during the coming period, especially with the drop in temperatures in the city.

And the electronic newspaper “Jordan News” learned that all tickets for the technical alliance, which Amr Diab intends to establish in the city of Aqaba, quickly sold out after being put up for sale.

The tickets for the concert to be held in the middle of next month were sold out, 15 minutes after the opening of the box office on one of the Internet sites.

It is noteworthy that the upcoming concert caused a sensation on social networking sites in Jordan, after the prices of tickets were announced, some of which amounted to 300 dinars. “Jordan News” viewed a promotional advertisement for the ceremony, and it was found that the price of a ticket in the special class (VVIP) is 300 dinars, and the (VIP) class is 250 dinars, the first class is 155 dinars, and the last class is 85 dinars.
